For those of you that are, or once were, math geeks... Or at the very least for those of you who like to make fun of math geeks.

Hate to say it but this is a built in feature for Mac OS. It is accessible under the Keyboard menu's "Modifier keys" button.

The Incontrovertible Truth About Reddit
5 points 2 years ago by KeyserSosa

Right now the recommended page is showing you stuff you haven't recently modded, and stuff that you are probably willing to like based on the mods of others who have similar mod patterns to you.

So, in fact, the presence of negative stories means that, though the article has been voted down by the collective, someone "like you" must have modded it up.

It's currently in a state of perpetual tweaking, and the sample size is still small (so, when it is way off, don't read to much into what reddit thinks a "user like you" will probably like), but treat the presence of the negative articles for now as an indication that it is at least trying to give you new and different stuff. ;)

Ask reddit: Which text editor are you using for programming work?
1 point 2 years ago by KeyserSosa

Visual Studio 6.0 (not .NET) for C on Windows, Eclipse for Java (only when I have to) on windows and mac, and Emacs for everything else.

Well, of course, then there is all of that programming in Mathematica I've got to do for my thesis. I'm not sure if it is, strictly speaking, a text editor, a command line, or just an all around bad UI (probably all of the above) but I certainly <sigh> do programming work in it.

Yeah, the sites you've already visited are already labeled in purple. This is not due to the history in your browser: if you switch browsers (or machines), the same set of links will be shown as visited.

It looks to be marching along quite well considering it is so much younger than either slashdot or even digg.
